master Classes

work with a master in their craft

In a Master Class, a student performs in a simulated audition like setting. The "master" then coaches the student on ways to improve, while others watch and learn.  Master classes are typically 1.5 hours in length, and will feature a 10-15 minute Q&A at the end.  Five people will sing and be coached for 12-15 minutes each.

You may register to perform or audit.  If more than five sign up to perform, those not chosen will be given first priority at the next Master class.

Please note, all Master Classes are held via Zoom.  This means students will need to play their accompaniment from a second device (phone/iPad etc.) in order to participate.

Previous Master Classes have been lead by Broadway performers such as Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice), Andrea Macasaet (Six), Kerry Butler (Hairspray), Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde), Lori Ann Strunk (Aida), Kara Oates (Mary Poppins), Lawrence Street (Urinetown), and Heather Parcells (A Chorus Line).

In addition, Master Classes focused on Dance, Monologues, and Improvisation have been held.  Q&As from Disney performers, and film/television artists have also been featured.

Most Master Classes are recorded with permission from the artist, and shared with participants.
